Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to Fabricate and Weld steel parts according to blueprint specifications. Welders are called to use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Assemble and weld structures, sub-assemblies and be responsible for filing, burring and welding
- Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
- Work in a team environment to achieve quality and quantity according to customer needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work space
- Safely operate all equipment
- Operate and maintain a MIG welder without supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experienced or technical training as a structural welder with the ability to join, fabricate and weld metal tube and pipe
Travel
This position requires minimal to no travel

- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
