Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the “jewel” of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Join our team as a Production Technician 2 and help build the world’s most sought-after motorcycles.

 

Position Overview

Produces machined parts by loading program, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine(s); maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; responding to machine alarms; maintaining equipment and supplies. Adjusting input of computer systems for accuracy of machine operation, may utilize machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and machining centers, to produce precision metal parts.

 

Experience Requirements: 

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of CNC metal machining experience in a metal production environment.  

We require the ability to read basic blueprints/process sheet drawings and use of gauging and inspection equipment. 

Demonstrated problem solving skills and basic math skills are required.  Previous experience in a team environment is preferred.

 

Education Requirements: 

Must have a High School diploma or GED or CNC Machining Technical Certificate or at least 3 years of verifiable machining experience.  

 

Attendance Policy

Harley-Davidson expects that all workers be punctual for their assignment. As such, the Company utilizes an attendance policy which requires regular attendance. Please refer to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company Employee Absence Management Program document for additional information.

 

Overtime

Employees may have the opportunity to work voluntary overtime. Employees can also be mandated to work overtime. Overtime can include up to four hours before shift overtime, up to four hours after shift overtime, and/or weekend overtime. Overtime will be paid at time and a half after forty (40) hours worked.

 

Union

Production Technician 2s are represented by the United Steelworkers (USW).
