This position is responsible for supporting processes related to consolidations and financial reporting. In addition, responsibilities include process improvement and automation.This person will become a valued member of our Finance Department, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.The position may be based in Southfield, MI and reports directly to the Finance Manager, Financial Systems, of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide end user support to include mapping changes, troubleshooting during monthly close and general questions from users.
  • Provide and monitor user security in compliance with policy and procedures.
  • Manage daily operations of OneStream database such as updates of database structure.
  • Design, build and update required reports using OneStream reporting applications.
  • Train new OneStream users and lead multiple training sessions from beginning to expert levels.
  • Contribute to special projects.
  • Proactively and frequently communicate with internal customers to build and maintain a solid working relationship.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in a financial planning or accounting environment, or IT experience supporting Finance processes and initiatives.

Skills

  • Experience working with Financial Consolidations systems such as OneStream, Hyperion HFM, Tagetik (experience working in an OneStream environment is highly preferred).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, to support interaction with Finance customers and IT partners, are required.
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task in a dynamic environment is required.
  • Strong MS Excel skills required.
