Aftermath Services is currently hiring a Crime Scene Cleaning Shop Manager for our Detroit, MI shop.

Salary: Admin hourly rate: $18.00 | Job time hourly rate: $36.00-$49.00 based on experience

Driver's license and a clean driving history required.

Crime Scene Cleaning Shop Manager

We are currently searching for an entry-level Crime Scene Cleaning Shop Manager who is hardworking, compassionate, and has a strong desire to help families in need. While prior experience in construction, demolition, restoration, and comparable industries are a plus, it is not required. Aftermath provides comprehensive training and certification on safety and compliance, biohazard cleanup process and procedure, and customer service. We are committed to training our technicians for success.

What you'll do:

  • Direct leadership and development of Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.
  • Direct job site management and support of the Supervisor(s) and the Technician(s) in various biohazard remediation projects, including suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, and more.
  • Responsible for shop operations, including but not limited to staffing, interviewing, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
  • Facilitate community outreach to build brand awareness and establish strong local partnerships.
  • Support Market Manager and Area Manager in daily operations and special projects as needed.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, providing job site biohazard remediation services in various emergency situations.
Experience and Skills

Requirements:

  • You must be within a 50-minute drive to the shop to be available in the required time of receiving a service call. Our shop is located in Orion, MI 48359.
  • You must also be willing to travel, and depending on the situation, be flexible with multi-day travel and overnights (we provide meal and lodging accommodations).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) or clean driving history.
  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is a plus
  • Customer service experience is a plus
