Pay and Benefits:
Plant 1 in Owosso MI- Work Hours: we work 5days 8 hour shifts Monday through Fridays with OT as business dictates( 7:00am-3:30pm) with some flexibility in hours and Friday they will do PM's or larger repairs.
The Production Maintenance Technician 2 position is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Ability to work under pressure and respond with a sense of urgency to minimize the downtime of production equipment. Ability to interact with a cross-functional diverse team throughout the organization.
Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plants facility equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Perform skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic to troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair of production machines to include but not limited to rotary/thermoformers, packaging, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, pump and compressor equipment while complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas. Looking for someone who is strong Industrial Electrical.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. Ability to work under pressure and respond with a sense of urgency to minimize the downtime of production equipment.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule to improve machine efficiency, capability and yield.
Troubleshoot more complex equipment issues and performs equipment failure analysis.
Maintain documentation on work orders, Corrective Actions, and PM's (Pro-active and reactive work orders) or projects as assigned.
Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, technical manuals, blueprints, CAD drawings, & electrical diagrams to perform required maintenance and service.
