The role of the Clerk is to perform General Store/Dock duties, maintain and record all required paperwork, interface professionally with plant customers and place incoming material in designated areas in crib.
Responsibilities Managing inventory by stocking, distributing and cataloging products for a parts crib Daily inventory & cycle counts Reporting discrepancies in inventory to supervisor Operate Forklift to load/unload material, place material on storage racks Operate Burden carrier/Electric Cart to travel plant/deliver material Utilize ERP system (SAP) daily to manage inventory Communicate using two-way radio, email, and Microsoft teams
Other Skills Inspect orders for inaccuracies and damage, file merchandise claims. Coordinate merchandise transfers between physical locations. Fill customer orders, as needed. Ensure receiving and storage areas are well-organized. Liaison with customers and management.
Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Ability to stand for prolonged periods and routinely lift packages up to 25 lbs. Retail / warehouse experience a plus. Experience with logistics computer systems desired Fork lift/high-low experience desired
