ACCOUNT MANAGER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN

As a member of the automotive fabric team, the Account Manager will be responsible for key account management, new business pursuits, and customer support.

The Role:

  • Your work will include, but not be limited to:
  • Lead key growth and account management initiatives in assigned product lines & customer basis
  • Support the development & execution of specific customer strategies in support of, and in collaboration with regional, global sales strategies and goals
  • Establish & grow solid relationships with key customers including purchasing, engineering, and other relevant functions
  • Support tech shows, technical presentations, and marketing efforts at OEM, Tier and internal customers
  • Build Lear internal relationships with key global engineering & commercial team members
  • Travel as required to customer plants, headquarters, and other locations
  • Support overall fabric organization through various reporting, system and other functions

Your Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or business-related field
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive seating, overhead systems, or fabric
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of basic finance elements
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Ability to operate autonomously and proactively
  • Strong team player & ability to manage global cultures

Bonus If You Have:

  • Fabric, Textile experience
  • Seating or headliner, overhead systems, rollershade product experience
