We all naturally tend to compare ourselves to those around us or individuals we look up to, and it's prevalent when thinking about our careers as well. Jim McCarthy, a leadership consultant and motivational speaker, warns Tim Muma that participating in this activity could be to our detriment, depending on who we are looking at. He also says it all depends on what factors we deem important, and of course, what we do about it.
