We are currently looking for a full-time Production Associate to assist in manufacturing areas with packaging orders correctly, ensuring all materials are available, and following quality check requirements and HACCP/BRC procedures in our Battle Creek, MI facility. This is an entry level position that is the first step in a line of potential progression where there are abundant opportunities to move into higher level positions.We have been driving innovation since 1976. When your actions lead to success.
  • Assist Slitter Operators with staging production materials; being available to move product in a manner that is safe and in keeping with quality/food safety standards.
  • Be vigilant - monitor for quality.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
  • Become an expert and train new employees.
  • Assist with troubleshooting minor machine problems.
  • Assist in other areas as able and assigned.
When your expertise drives us.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Willing and able to work all 3 shifts with overtime as needed.
  • Able to see and differentiate color, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read, write and measure using a tape or ruler.
  • Basic computer capabilities
  • Able to efficiently handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for extended periods of time.
  • Successful pre-employment background and reference check, physical and drug testing
