Job Description
Wall Colmonoy is searching for a highly qualified CFO to help grow the company in the next decades. The position will be responsible for financial strategy, cash flow, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the President and the Executive Team to make decisions regarding the company’s financial strategy and operations. The CFO will play a crucial role in streamlining operational finance and accounting functions, modeling out financial decisions and creating a road map for continued growth. A hands-on role, the position requires identifying cost reductions and productivity improvements and recognizing growth opportunities while partnering with the business unit leadership teams.

Directly reporting to the position is the Accounting, IT and Procurement Departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Be a Business Partner on the Executive Team, influencing Sales to Operations to Finance strategies and tactics
  • Develop, shape, and execute the business strategy for profitable growth in the interests of all stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor business unit managers in achieving financial goals
  • Manage treasury functions: banking relationships, cash management, investing
  • Recommend capital structure and allocation strategies plus financing needs
  • Track and report business unit Key Performance Indicators and goals
  • Oversee the capital budgeting and approval process
  • Manage business unit job cost accounting
  • Drive a digital transformation program within the company
  • Support the company’s M&A process with due diligence and integrations
Qualifications:
  • Degree in accounting or finance, MBA and/or CPA/CMA/CGMA
  • 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in a CFO or senior finance role
  • Prior manufacturing industry experience is strongly desired
  • Experience in a privately held SME business is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis
  • Practical experience in modern digital technology like robotic process automation and artificial intelligence.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong ability to model out financial decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing finance and accounting teams, while promoting a culture of continual improvement and resourcefulness
  • Desire to work in a flat organization where resourcefulness and initiative are vital
  • Proven ability to drive cost reduction and productivity initiatives by eliminating waste in all functions on the shop floor and in the office.  
  • Hands-on Change Agent never satisfied with the status quo who aspires for Excellence by setting high standards
  • Results-driven, Team player in a high-performance culture environment
  • Working knowledge of ERP; preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365. Prior implementation experience is highly desired.
