We are continuously expanding our plastics manufacturing capabilities in thermoforming, extrusion, injection molding and plastic recycling while providing high-tech products and innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
POSITION AVAILABLE:
The Tool Design Engineer will create new thermoforming mold tooling utilizing SolidWorks, SolidCAM and CNC Programming. In this position, candidates must meet customer design requirements, attend design review meetings, and work hands on with the manufacturing production team to develop effective packaging solutions. The Tool Design Engineer will be responsible for the tool design from concept to production utilizing problem solving skills and tool drawings to create a complete prototype. Upon approval, this role will also be charged with implementation on the production floor including addressing issues and correcting those issues in order to meet the customer deliverables within set timelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma/GED - trade school or some applicable college classes, preferred.
  • Must have experience using SolidWorks/SolidCAM
  • CNC Programming knowledge is required.
OTHER SKILLS:
  • Candidate must be able to manage time effectively.
  • Have the ability to visualize the design start to finish.
  • Top candidates can see in 3D and work hands on in each step of the process.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while staying on task is important.
  • Ability to follow all safety protocol and support our ISO 9001 Quality processes.
