HR ANALYST - GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES

SOUTHFIELD, MI - HYBRID POSITION - (2-3 days per month onsite, or based on business needs)

Join our dynamic U.S. and Canada (USC) HR Global Business Services (GBS) team as an HR GBS Analyst. This position plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for employees and managers in addressing employee data management process inquiries, ensuring seamless resolution, and providing exceptional service. The role requires a candidate with a passion for helping customers along with being highly motivated to achieve overall goals and objectives.

The Role:

As an HR GBS Analyst, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Respond to, document, resolve, and escalate employee general HR issues and inquiries, ensuring all customer interactions are recorded and tracked in the internal case management system for efficient resolution.
  • Enter, maintain, and process information into appropriate systems for assigned HR Services work, such as employee/job data changes, job positions, compensation changes, and other employee data updates.
  • Administer Time & Attendance vacation entries while also responding to employee's vacation requests
  • Manages cases (e.g., open, tracking, close out, follow up) and maintains HR knowledge base (e.g., HR policies, FAQs, process training material) to support timely resolution of escalated inquiries
  • Perform necessary testing, analysis, and validation of data and HR system updates
  • Verify and audit employee data, resolves any discrepancies
  • Provide case management support and administration across all USC HR GBS process areas
  • Work within established policies, procedures, and performance criteria to provide timely, courteous, and professional resolution to inquiries.
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established customer service standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide process improvement input and escalate complex inquiries and issues to Team Lead

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in HR
  • Experience with HR systems preferred (Oracle, SAP, UKG & ServiceNow)
  • 1-2 years in a service center environment preferred
  • Maintains a high attention to detail and accuracy in all work deliverables
  • Capability to maintain and administer confidential / sensitive data with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize and shift focus to address competing demands
  • Maintains composure with professional etiquette in supporting and resolving customer challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Clearly and succinctly communicates in a variety of settings and styles
  • Customer service improvement mindset
