Role Summary

As Sr. Analyst, Service Analytics, you will support the Business Operations and Strategic Planning organization in measuring performance and driving optimization across Rivian Service. In this role, you will work closely with service stakeholders across the organization to build dashboards and metrics that cover all aspects of the service process, from service support intake and capacity planning, to diagnostics, parts ordering, and service appointments. In each area, you'll help develop metrics that monitor throughput, efficiency, cycle-time, cost/revenue, and other KPIs that will enable our service teams to make data-driven operational and strategic decisions. The ability to communicate and collaborate well will be critical, as you'll also work with our data partners to ensure availability of new data streams, with Finance and Accounting to ensure collection of the right inputs financial planning and analysis, and provide data that is crucial to partner organizations, such as Sales, Delivery, and Facilities. This role will report the Sr. Manager, Service Analytics.


Responsibilities

* Develop excellent working relationships with Rivian Service and partner organizations to ensure alignment on data requirements, deadlines, and general fulfillment of overall needs
* Use data analytics to build clear, meaningful dashboards and data stories to measure performance, highlight trends, and answer key business questions for leadership, executives, and the Board of Directors
* Collaborate regularly with stakeholders to review existing dashboards to ensure they are functioning correctly and are updated (or deprecated) as needs change
* Use SQL, Python, and DBT to gather, join, and validate datasets from multiple sources for use with BI tools like Excel or Tableau
* Work closely with Rivian data teams to conduct data discovery, utilizing Jira to create tickets as necessary to bring in data or fix data issues
* Provide support for stakeholders and answer questions on dashboard usage, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement
* Filter incoming data requests and help ensure orderly development and management of dashboards/reports
* Perform ad-hoc analyses to provide support for on-the-spot business inquiries and operational initiatives
* Assist with completion of slide decks for strategy discussions


Qualifications

* 3-5 years of data analysis experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or Manufacturing

* 3-5 years of hands-on experience creating complex dashboards and data stories using Tableau. "Expert" level in Tableau development (Tableau certification is a plus)

* High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree is preferred
* Strong background in data analysis, trend and root cause identification, and statistical modeling
* Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and own workstreams from start-to-finish with minimal guidance
* Excellent SQL skills across complex data sets-familiarity with Databricks and AWS (Redshift/S3)
* Strong understanding of Python and Alteryx workflows a plus


Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $107,800 to $146,500 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Washington Based Applicants: $107,800 to $134,800 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $103,100 to $128,900 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $117,200 to $146,500 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
