We're looking for a Content Manager for the Deckorators marketing team. In this role, you'll be the creative force behind crafting compelling narratives and engaging content that showcases our products and brand identity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies that resonate with our target audiences and drive brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Deckorators' marketing goals and objectives. This includes defining content themes, formats, and distribution channels.

Content Creation: Write, edit, and curate high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, blogs, videos, and more. Ensure all content is on-brand, accurate, and compelling.

Editorial Calendar Management: Plan and maintain an editorial calendar to organize content production and publication schedules. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of content assets.

Social Media: Promote content through paid advertising, social media campaigns, influencer partnerships and other promotional tactics to expand our reach and amplify our message.

SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to Deckorators' digital properties. Stay updated on SEO best practices and incorporate relevant keywords and strategies into content creation.

Performance Analysis: Monitor content performance metrics and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of content campaigns. Use insights to iterate and optimize content strategies for better engagement and conversion rates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, product, sales, and marketing teams to align content initiatives with broader business objectives. Provide content support for product launches, promotions, and events.

Brand Voice and Tone: Maintain consistency in brand voice and tone across all content channels. Ensure that all content reflects Deckorators' brand values, messaging, and visual identity.

Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in content marketing. Incorporate relevant trends and innovations into content strategies to keep Deckorators ahead of the curve.

Team Management: Guide and oversee a team of digital marketers, providing mentorship and leadership to drive success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content creation, preferably in a similar role within the home improvement or building materials industry.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content analytics.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and crafting engaging narratives.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
