Job/Internship Description

Join our team as an HR intern. This is a paid internship that will support the HR team and other managers in the facility through various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships within the community (high schools/tech schools/resource groups/etc.)
  • Assists in employee training, new hire benefit orientation and exit process, open enrollment etc.
  • Assists in payroll auditing to confirm compliance
  • Involved in the recruitment and selection process such as screening, interviewing, onboarding, etc.
  • Coordinates miscellaneous programs including banquets, picnics, attendance and recognition awards, etc.
  • Assists in HR projects
  • Support HR in resolving employee concerns and inquiries
  • Assist in maintaining employee records and files
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong interest in a career in Human Resources
  • Ability to use MS Office applications
  • Has the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work 20-25 hours per week
