Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, performs OT evaluation and treatment patient care duties as appropriate.
Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians and other system employees as needed regarding patient care needs and adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises/delegates to Assistant, and tech as appropriate.
Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Master's Degree, preferred.
Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease. Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
