The Electrical Prototype Build Engineer will be responsible for managing all electrical prototype build activities including developing and communicating build plans based on vehicle specifications, test plans, and program timing. This engineer will also lead multiple teams to assure all program deliverables are met and resolve any issues affecting build quality, engineering design, manufacturing process, and timing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited or equivalent program
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable with preparing presentations and presenting to all levels of management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Team-building and leadership skills, organizational excellence, and goal/target-minded discipline
- Proven problem-solving skill se
- Understanding of prototype vehicles and plywood buck builds
- Basic vehicle build process knowledge
- Basic knowledge of CATIA V5, and/or NX, TeamCenter
