Actuarial Manager

Crowe LLP has started a new actuarial practice. We are hiring an actuarial manager to help in the development of this solution offering in our Advisory - Valuation Services practice. This exciting position will provide the right individual with an opportunity to grow with the new practice, as well as work with numerous audit support and consulting clients. A self-starter that has the desire to fast track their career, while gaining an extensive degree of knowledge in all aspects of consulting, is highly desired. The opportunity is to be a leader in supporting the build-out of a new practice area, with a focus on high quality delivery and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

* Prepare and present key findings to clients
* Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of others
* Participate in and / or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
* Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
* Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
* Provide coaching to junior staff
* Contribute to new business proposals and proposal development

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Candidates must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of 4 or more Actuarial exams
* 5+ years of Actuarial experience, including 3+ years of experience managing and providing work direction to a team, including leading projects and / or team members
* Prior consulting experience is highly desired


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,615.00 to $197,375.00.
