thyssenkrupp System Engineering became Automation Engineering and Automotive Body Solutions
Effective March 1, 2021 the thyssenkrupp System Engineering Business Unit was split into two independently operating companies with different product programs.

The powertrain and battery assembly activities are managed by thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering in the Multi Tracks segment. Body assembly and series production of lightweight body parts are managed by thyssenkrupp Automotive Body Solutions in the Automotive Technology segment.

thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering is an operating Business Unit of the Multi Tracks segment of thyssenkrupp AG. The company combines all activities in the area of drive and battery assembly with a major focus on transformation towards electromobility. Automation Engineering is a reliable partner for its customers with a focused eye on quality and innovation.

thyssenkrupp's Automotive Technology business segment is one of the leading suppliers and engineering partners to the international auto industry. The range of products and services includes high-tech components and systems as well as automation solutions for vehicle manufacturing.
