Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in business administration, operations or leadership
  • 3 years of experience managing projects
  • Experience with planning, organizing and establishing priorities to achieve measurable results
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with executive leadership information
  • Demonstrated flexibility with moving deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems from multiple perspectives and determine the best course of action to align with business goals and objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of the business area/supporting team leader
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field

Job Summary

The Special Projects Manager delivers results for executive-level leaders by tailoring feedback according to their leaders, clients, and team members' sensitivities. They concentrate on troubleshooting and navigating the team's daily needs to maximize the executive leader's time for focusing on strategizing and growing the team.


  • Plan and align executive-level projects by partnering with leadership and other support professionals
  • Execute on executive-level projects
  • Identify areas of risk or opportunity within the team and escalate to leadership
  • Write first drafts of proposals, presentations, etc.
  • Guide decision making on action items
  • Ensure the execution of tasks are addressed with a sense of urgency
  • Communicate the executive leadership team's wants, needs, concerns and ideas with clients and major stakeholders
  • Act as a sounding board for new business ideas and initiatives
