Job Description

Position Summary: The Housekeeping Lead is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of camp facilities and supervise seasonal housekeeping staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Clean and dust all surfaces including windows, doors, appliances, and fixtures
  • Vacuum, sweep and mop all floors
  • Empty trash and recycle receptacles; replace liners as needed
  • Clean restrooms by cleaning floors, bathtubs, showers, sinks, urinals, toilets and mirrors
  • Launder linens and make beds
  • Restock and inventory all cleaning supplies, including restroom paper products needed for re-order
  • Assist with seasonal decorating, including set up and tear down
  • Direct, assign and spot check the seasonal staff cleaning
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma / GED preferred
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Leadership experience desired

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
  • Willingness to learn new software as needed

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
