Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Specialist to work at our client's site located in Bridgman, MI for a full time contract position. As a Project Specialist you will support the project management, engineering, and construction efforts of a project(s) by ensuring the project plans and management documents are prepared, approved, communicated, and maintained. You are an individual that possess good communication skills both verbal and written. You are someone that can meet a schedule of deadlines while still maintaining a high quality in your work. This work is performed primarily in the office with some work in the plant buildings. We are seeking local candidates only.

Job Details/Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage Project Document Library
  • Maintain Project Management Plans
  • Organize and analyze Project Data
  • Update Project Status Reports
  • Communicate with Vendors, team members and stakeholders
  • Assist in managing Risk and Operating Experience
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules
  • Participate in and occasionally lead Project Meetings
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of cost estimates
  • Track and report project status for actions, documents, implementation, etc.
  • Prepare for project audits
  • Follow the project process flows and complete, or arrange for the completion of, predecessor and successor tasks.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable of client's project management processes including knowledge of the PMI-PMBOK and INPO 09-002 Excellence in Nuclear Project Management, preferred
  • Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana as well as CBD oil), and employment testing.
  • Are a candidate local to the area
