This off-shift position will be located in Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operation, and will Inspects for low angle grain boundary data by use of real time image device. Dispositions and reworks castings according to customer requirements (grade 3 only). Maps grain indications (grade 3 only). Inputs inspection data into computerized traceability system. Prepares area on castings for inspection. Uses phosphoric acid under electrolysis. Stamps castings where applicable (grade 3 only). Prepares new acid solutions to customer specifications. Complies with all EHS rules required for the position. Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be available to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend crew).
