Electrician - 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am $40.23/hr.
Who we are looking for:
Atkore, a recent recipient of a Great Place to Work certification, is currently searching for an Electrician to be based out of Wayne, MI. The position available is on 3rd Shift, S-T 11:00PM - 7:30AM. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all types of electrical equipment.
What you'll do:
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of electrical systems, including: transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
- All work must be compliant with current National Electric Code
- Ensuring Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are being met
- Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas
- All other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must hold Journeyman classification
- One year manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math and verbal skills
- Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery
- Ability to follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindset
- Flexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekends

- Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and have strong work ethic
