Job Summary/Basic Function | Maintains grounds/landscape on campus sites for proper college appearance and safety, including but not limited to lawns, planters, tree areas, walkways, drives. Provides general maintenance and custodial services for students, faculty and staff. Sets ups for special events. |
Minimum Qualifications | * High School diploma or GED * Ability to work without direct supervision. * Ability to operate power equipment. * Ability to perform manual labor * Valid drivers' license. |
Preferred Qualifications | * Associates degree * Experience in building custodial and grounds keeping operations. * Ability to operate heavy and power equipment. * Fork truck operator certification. * Knowledge of lawn care, pruning/trimming/planting of trees and shrubs and safety operations of related equipment. * Ability to work as a team player. |
