Talent Development Services Project Manager
The Talent Development Services Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of Human Resources Talent Development (HRTD) Services projects, project management processes, procedures, and metrics. Responsible for key deliverables contributing to successful project delivery include project plans, status reports, capacity reports, timelines, deliverable reports. Recommends and acts to manage the analysis and solution of problems.
Provides project management to HRTD and enterprise talent-related projects of significant complexity. Provides project leadership to project team members as they complete their responsibilities. Frequently communicates with senior management.
Position Repsonsibilities:
Project Management / Execution
  • Provide management of complex, visible, and medium-to-large talent management projects to deliver successfully within budget, scope, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Provide management of project risk plans to mitigate probability and impact to the project.
  • Maintain and communicate awareness of project interdependencies within the HRTD
  • Department and across the organization to deconflict and align related efforts.
  • Maintain awareness of and communicate conflicting projects and objectives, recommending mitigation options to project stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage relationships of trust with management, peers, and teams across lines of business.
  • Support vendor relationships, contract negotiation, and reconcilement of vendor invoices.
  • Hold vendors accountable to cost, scope, schedule, and quality deliverables.
Financial Management
  • Manage to established project budgets and timeline.
  • Employ financial acumen with proper financial forecasting to create project financial reports for leadership communication.
  • Review and approve project budget updates and maintenance.
Risk Management
  • Manages adherence to all government, corporate and department standards, policies and procedures in all project artifacts, work products, tasks and decisions across the HRTD department.
  • Works to ensure all artifacts adhere to all standards, policies and procedures.
  • Proactively manages project risks and risk mitigation plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited univeristy or 4 years of relevant experience
  • 4 years of experience working in a team setting to deliver projects
  • 4 years of experience in project management, including medium-to-large projects
  • 4 years of experience in vendor management/ negotaition epxerinece
  • 4 years of experience with project management and resouce planning tools
  • 4 years of experience with building actionable project plans
  • 2 years of experience executing concurrent projects of varying size, cost, complexity and risk
  • 2 years of experience ensuring project benefits are clear and delvieed through multiple project deliverables
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or Certified Assocaited in Project Managerment (CAPM) required
Comerica Great Lakes Campus
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position is hybrid and offers both onsite and remote work days.
