Job Description

Engage in direct collection efforts regarding balances referred to internal Legal Collections unit via phone and email. This is a Remote position or if you reside near the following area would be a plus: MI, GA, IL, NY/NJ, AR, or Eastern PA.

What you will do for C&F:

    Negotiate installment plans within unit guidelines to help resolve the balance.
  • Facilitate actual audits for estimated audits referred to unit.
  • Obtain dispute details for on referred balances.
  • Refer any settlement offers to management for review and approval.
  • Assist as needed on an ad hoc basis.

What you will bring to C&F:

  • 1-3 years of direct Business to Business collections experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of collection techniques and of collections.
  • Excellent customer service and issue resolution skills necessary to work with both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to interact with various levels of the organization. Must have a collaborative approach to developing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong phone skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office - Word, Excel & Outlook and of SharePoint.
  • Experience with Majesco billing system a plus.
  • Understanding of basic commercial insurance.
  • Strong negotiating skills.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $25,700.00 to a maximum of $58,300.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
