Business Intelligence Analyst - Berrien Springs/Hybrid Work Eligible (Full-Time)

This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position. You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You can multitask across systems and applications, analyze, isolate and resolve a variety of issues, and comfortably navigate a technical environment. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time.   • Supports the strategic development and operations of the BI/Data Warehousing practice.
  • Focuses on improving technology and processes to make them more efficient and effective.
  • Works closely with operational leaders across the organization to recommend, develop, implement, and support analytics solutions to deliver essential information.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the credit union is utilizing data to make informed business decisions.
  • Utilizes BI tools (SQL, ETL, SSRS, Power BI and others) and industry knowledge to analyze data and develop actionable insights to help the organization continue to deliver top levels of service to the credit union's membership.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • College degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Information Systems, or related field is required; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory working experience.
  • Microsoft Office macros (or Visual Basics) preferred.
  • Additional experience may be substituted for Business Intelligence related certifications and/or Boot Camps.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Working knowledge of Excel, BI reporting tools and SQL required.
  • Knowledge of basic algebraic and financial equations and formulas.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, communications and customer service principles.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance and best practices.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate all related computer hardware and software.
