The Opportunity: We are seeking a full time Facilities Services Specialist to join our team. This role will provide direct support to the processing of United States Post Office mail, overnight mail and contracted courier service program. Provide assistance to vendors and guests working at or visiting headquarters. Complete small-scale projects and support all facets of Facilities & Services service operations.
What You'll Do:
  • Sort incoming mail from the United States Postal Service (USPS) and process for distribution; process outgoing USPS mail, apply postage and deposit in mailbox.
  • Process support department mail jobs submitted in Onbase.
  • Process incoming/outgoing transit bags and packages from/to courier service.
  • Research and resolve issues related to lost or delayed courier materials.
  • Deliver overnight mail and packages to departments and obtain signatures, as required.
  • Monitor business reply mail costs and request funds; complete vouchers and purchase orders for postal costs and special purchases; monitor mail center supply inventory and place orders; complete mail center reports.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, place service calls and monitor maintenance orders.
  • Under direct supervision, execute small scale department projects, as assigned.
  • Remain current with USPS regulations, courier service program and branch locations.
  • Sign-in and assist credit union guests and vendors.
  • Process inventory orders, supply orders and shred service support requests.
  • Perform supply, maintenance and support tasks as required by department management.
What You'll Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Compliance with DFCU Financial vehicle policy and procedures.
  • Ability to move up to 70 lbs. multiple times.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive lifting.
  • Exposure to inclement weather.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and prioritize requests.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
  • Evening, weekend, holiday and overtime hours, as required.
