SENOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN

As a member of the North American Seating team, the Senor Account Manager will be responsible for business and relationship development between both the external customer and internal customers within Lear Corporation.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

* Build strong relationships between Lear and the cross functional customer teams

* Support strategic planning activities on regular intervals with relevant information and ensure strategic and tactical actions to both win new and retain existing business

* Identify, develop, and implement savings initiatives both internally and externally

* Develop strategies and solutions to meet customer requests of all types whether it be new business, engineering change control, or capacity change requests

* Manage and develop sales reports for tracking business status of activities ongoing at the key account(s) allowing ease of communication and transparency in the business

Qualifications:

* Self-starter, self-motivator with a positive attitude that can influence the organization

* Independent and logical thinker; ability to creatively mitigate problems and capitalize on opportunities

* Financial intuition is a strong plus

* High level of personal accountability and unwavering integrity

* 3 to 5 years' experience; manufacturing and/or account maintenance preferably

* Ability to function well during high stress situations

* Strong communication skills; well-developed organizational, inter-personal and problem-solving skills

* Leadership and persuasive skills in facilitating projects through the organization

* Ability to recognize areas in need of improvement

* Strong PC skills; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, BASICS

* 4-year college degree

* Ability to travel internationally for up to 1 week at a time

Preferred If You Have:

* Past sales experience working directly with OEMs in a sales or engineering function

* MBA
