Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights to support decision-making and drive business growth. Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
    • Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance metrics and KPIs.
  2. Financial Reporting and Presentations:
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Present financial insights and key findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
    • Create executive-level presentations and dashboards to communicate financial performance and trends effectively.
  3. Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning.
    • Evaluate the financial impact of proposed projects, initiatives, and acquisitions.
    • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to assess risks and opportunities.
  4. Budget Management and Cost Control:
    • Monitor budget performance and track actual results against budgeted targets.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities, operational efficiencies, and areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with department heads to develop accurate budget forecasts and variance explanations.
  5. Financial Forecasting and Trend Analysis:
    • Forecast future financial performance based on historical data, market trends, and business drivers.
    • Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and key financial metrics to identify patterns and potential risks.
  6. Ad-Hoc Financial Projects:
    • Lead special financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
    • Conduct financial research, due diligence, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    • Provide actionable recommendations and implement best practices to optimize financial processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior management.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
