As an R & D Category Assistant at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.

Executes analytical testing and assures the completion and accuracy of written reports to meet established deadlines. Maintains communication with Shared Innovation Support (SIS) Manager as it relates to analyses, instrumentation status, and timelines. Effectively maintains laboratory instrumentation and equipment in consultation with instrument vendors and key scientists within the Analytical Sciences (AS) team. Effectively communicates scientific knowledge and information to technical and non-technical audiences as needed. Maintains detailed laboratory records according to established requirements and SOPs. Supports the AS department by ordering laboratory consumables, maintaining stockroom, heading capital projects, and maintaining chemical safety data sheets according to a strict chemical hygiene plan. Support AS and Evansville Tech Center as team safety representatives as needed.

B.S. or B.A. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or other relevant science degree is required. Experience with the following analytical assays is required: full amino acids profiles, free amino acid profiles, and total protein analyses. Experience with the following analytical assays is preferred: molecular weight profiles, static headspace, sialic acid, SDS-PAGE. Ability to run multiple methods simultaneously is required. Demonstrated experience with analytical instrument maintenance is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to analytical chemistry and application in method troubleshooting, is required. Demonstrated collaborative and effective communication skills with external groups is highly preferred. Adherence to all established safety guidelines and established SOPs is required.

USD$54,000.00- $80,000.00

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
