Fraud Prevention Investigator
The Fraud Prevention Investigator works in the Enterprise Fraud Management Fraud Resolution Center and assists customers with claims of unauthorized activity on their accounts, Elder Abuse and Identity Theft. The investigator is the single point of contact for the customer, handling the fraud claim from start to finish. Responsibilities include determining the who/what/when/where/how the fraud occurred along with allocating the loss to the appropriate business unit and fraud loss account. In addition, the investigator handles fraud-in-progress phone calls occurring at Banking Centers and takes fraud prevention action steps to minimize losses. The Investigator is responsible for answering calls from internal and external customers, validating the legitimacy of transactions, collecting applicable documentation, dispositioning the case and recovery efforts.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Answers fraud related calls and accumulates information and documentation to complete the investigation.
  • Writes narrative to document all steps of the investigation, complying with all documentation standards regarding case files.
  • Utilize computer and industry specific software on investigations or projects.
  • Prepare customer documentation for review and authorization.
  • Perform less-complex investigations under the guidance of experienced investigators.
  • Develop a liaison relationship with various business units.
Hours
The Enterprise Fraud Management Claims Center is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 6:00pm with a rotating evening schedule.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR 2 years of combined bank and fraud experience
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • 2 years of experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and email systems
